As many may have noticed, at the end of each year, the Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a livelihood campaign. Each year, a banner is placed at the top of all pages, calling on all readers to sponsor their technical and administrative needs. At first, it was a single line, then a beautiful frame appeared, then the size increased dramatically, as a result of which the banner swelled a great deal, and in a collapsed state it occupied not much less space (your humble servant tried to argue with the Foundation officials that it should be reduced , but was sent in various forms).
