On April 18, under the auspices of RIT-2007 , a seminar of Peter Zaitsev " Optimization of MySQL performance, architecture and optimization of Innodb productivity " was held. Well, I tell you, it was something with something! Not only that, instead of the originally declared 30 people, more came, so also those who came in the mass were well-versed in the subject matter, and literally flooded Peter with questions. The speaker could not get out of the standard presentation set and in the course actively went sketching on flipchart. He was able to fully appreciate Peter's knowledge of how he answered tricky questions from listeners with ease. I will note that even those few who sat and silently listened to everything that was happening, obviously came out satisfied, because you can hardly find the illuminated material anywhere in paper form. This can be confirmed by the fact that after 8 hours of the seminar, the students for a long time, first indoors, and then on the street, were besieged by Peter with questions and clarifications.
I am glad that finally there is an opportunity to organize such events.
Now it is unprecedented in Russia, so that IT specialists of a high level could receive additional knowledge not within the framework of a 15-minute announcement at a conference, but in the full educational practice mode, and from the mouth of the best !
