700MHz + bus bus conquered in Russia!

Good afternoon, this is my first entry, I hope you enjoy it.
So, let's begin…

Despite the fact that the era of platforms on the 775 socket is already a thing of the past, for overclockers it is still still alive!

The main problem of overclocking Intel Core 2 Duo processors with a fixed multiplier, at extremely low temperatures, is overclocking the system bus FSB.

The next stage of the online contest F1OC in the nomination for the maximum FSB frequency was in full swing.
Very little was left in the balloon, and all I could squeeze out was 2 liters of a thermos with nitrogen.

In general, the system was assembled:

- Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (first available sample)
- GIGABYTE EP45T-EXTREME bios F5i
- 1024 Corsair Dominator 1800C7
- GF 7800GTX
- HDD 4Gb Compact Flash
- WinXP SP2 Ultra Ligth

On the air, it turned out to squeeze 660MHz

After that, copper cups were placed on the processor and the north bridge.
The optimal temperatures on the processor and chipset during testing were (-89c) and (-58c), respectively.
