Yota has begun preparations for the construction of a network in Grodno

Iota Bel IOOO sent for approval the drawings of sketch projects for the construction of WiMAX base stations in the Belarusian city of Grodno

For the actual construction is still necessary:
develop project documentation;
bring equipment;
put the BS;
go through the agreement and get permission.

July 23, 2009 - permission to use frequencies in the range 2.5-2.6 GHz
October-November 2008 - registration of Iota Bel IOOO

The wait is not long, but in the meantime life :) launched a 3G network in Minsk and regional cities
