Meizu M8: take all the best from the iPhone, Android and WinMo and rethink

Meizu m8
Probably many of you are familiar with the Chinese counterparts of the iPhone: SciPhone, CECT, and other engineering delights of the Chinese people, who work on written versions of Nucleus OS and parody the iPhone interface. Against this background, the promises of Meizu, which produced fairly good mp3 players, to release the phone looked quite rosy. However, the release dates from 2007 were constantly postponed, and finally released in February 2009, the Meizu M8 did not look as advantageous as it seemed: after the release of the iPhone 3G, prices for the iPhone 2G fell to the level of the Meizu M8, which made sense of buying the latter to zero.

Nevertheless, the Meizu M8 has a relatively good hardware at the moment: a 3.4 "capacitive screen with multitouch support, a display resolution of 480 * 720 px, an ARM11 667 MHz processor, 3.2 Mpx, etc. GPS and 3G support will appear in Meizu M8 3G in March 2010.

The OS used in the M8 is Windows CE. Initially, the M8 interface tried to copy the iPhone, and Meizu did it well. Over time, the interface has undergone changes: new widgets have appeared, interesting ideas, as well as ideas taken directly from Android and the latest versions of Windows Mobile. You can see what this has evolved in the leaked firmware version:

According to the CEO of the company, the firmware is ready at only 50%, but what he saw is impressive.
