I once programmed in Delphi. And the concept of an event management interface was widely used there.
The meaning is something like this: a programmer specifies actions to be performed when you click a button, for example, or when you hover your mouse over a certain interface element.
This is the general ideology of programs under Windows: the program knows nothing about the sequence of actions in general, but it does some short actions when pressing buttons. Vobschem is correct. The program is not a person and is only a tool in his hands.

Now, looking at my life, I notice that the mobile phone and ICQ turn me into a robot that responds to calls and messages, and lives, realizing not their tasks, but others.
From tomorrow until 12 o'clock in the afternoon I will try to be inaccessible, so that at least some time remains for my own purposes.
