The company
Zotac announced its first line of nettop -
Zotac MAG .
Zotac MAG is a compact computer that is only
186x189x38mm in
size , based on the high-performance
nVidia Ion chipset and the energy-efficient
Intel Atom processor with a frequency of 1.6 GHz: the single-core
HD-NS01 with
Atom 230 and dual-core
HD-ND01 with
Atom 330 are offered .
The novelty has 2 GB of RAM, a 160 GB hard drive, and an integrated nVidia GeForce 9400M graphics card, and also has a whole scatter of ports: eSATA, 6 USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, VGA, HDMI (fully compatible with 1080p HD), S / PDIF optical output and 6-in-1 card reader (MMC / SD / SDHC / MS / MS Pro / xD). In addition, the nettop has an integrated 802.11n WiFi module.

One of the main features of MAG is the
lack of a pre-installed operating system , which reduces the cost and allows you to use any system convenient for the user: compatibility with Windows XP / Vista / 7 and desktop Linux is guaranteed.

The new nettop is also convenient in placement and installation. There are
three ways to position the computer: just put it on the surface of the workplace, put the computer vertically, or mount it on the back surface of the monitor with the VESA hardware provided.

It is expected that the first nettop of the Zotac company will be available
in November and its price will be around
€ 250 .
Judging by the tests, MAG "with a bang" copes with 1080p (the load on the processor is about 50-60% - CUDA helps), carefully eats energy (the maximum is up to 35 W) and is equipped with a fairly quiet cooler.
