Accordingly, in the first step you need to think about where this very TV will be. There are two options again - to put somewhere or to hang on the wall (hmm, I haven’t yet seen televisions hanging in the middle of the room). And if there are not so many nuances with “put”, then there are some pitfalls with “hang”, about which a bit later.
If you are going to watch only movies, then both options are equally suitable, but if you are going to play, you need to plan the placement in advance so that the computer can be easily connected to the TV (respectively, there should be additional space for the computer and sufficient wire length for connection), and just comfortable to stay with him.
The next point is the screen size. Here we must proceed from its material possibilities and from the size of the room. If bills allow you to buy any diagonal, but the room is small at the same time - you can “be greedy” and get as a result not the most pleasant feelings when viewing a large image from close range. Opposite him stands a self-made two-story bed (the pride of childhood, which cannot be thrown out yet, because a lot of everything is stored on it), under which it was decided to make a cozy nest.
Actually, I was limited in space by this particular bed - at my disposal 2 meters in width. Since I didn’t want to see anything else under it, I tried to occupy all the space as much as possible.
As a TV, I looked at the BBK LT4710HD - the TV with the largest diagonal (119 cm) of the Bobics. Despite the fact that many look at this company with a charity, I have often recommended myself well and I treat it quite calmly) The device is about 120 cm long - there is enough space for everything else. Initially I looked at one more model from them - the LT4222HDL with LED-backlit and two USB ports (where you can insert a USB flash drive and watch everything directly from it is very convenient). But it is smaller (42 ") and much more expensive. As a result, sizes have received greater priority for a number of reasons. There were other applicants, almost from all companies - Panasonic , Philips (check out the video), SONY , LG and SAMSUNG - perhaps these are the largest representatives of this category. But the prices for a similar diagonal there differ significantly (It seems that it was decided and began to wool the Internet. A little later I ordered delivery, which resulted in a little less than 40k. Advice - don’t refuse delivery if it costs within the bounds of decency) %, and in the car such boxes, too, is far from each fit.

The final choice fell on him after reading the documentation - the possibility of existence at the required load. So he took without hesitation. Additionally, I bought sticky “paws” for sharp corners for a child, because they were worth a penny.
As a result, it remains to determine the acoustics. I had a good 5.1 Microlab H500 system , but it didn’t fit me to the system being created because of the subwoofer (in the form of a sufficiently large cube). I just had nowhere to put it, because I limited myself to the height of the purchased table. The search for a decent system with a subwoofer, which would fit in size, was not particularly crowned with success.
As a result, I ventured and took an interesting bundle from TopDevice (I heard a lot about this company and for the first time I decided to “listen” to their numerous products at HIT 2008 in St. Petersburg, where they had a huge stand), namely the TDE 500 . I would like to dwell on it in more detail, for it is quite new and very rare of its kind. Of the two colors available, I chose a dark one.
The first thing that attracted me to this particular set is that it is 5.0, i.e. without a separate subwoofer. The manufacturer promised bass from two columns-towers, and I must admit, I did not deceive) The second is the active system, i.e. There will be no expense item called "amplifier". The system consists of two “towers” ​​of meter height (one of which is the main one) and three columns (center and rear).
The total output power is 210 W (subwoofers in the front speakers are 30Wx2, the center is 20W, the front is 45Wx2, the rear is 20Wx2.), Which is enough for my space and neighbors. Find a couple of hours of time with a child is quite difficult. Mock me, but I had to watch a movie a couple of times ... through headphones) while I was sleeping a little. So the long wire (3 meters) with minijacks and the Y-shaped splitter turned out to be a useful bonus for them - to connect two headphones. Everything, as in the song "Romance" of the group Caste)

TV from the eyes at about three meters away - when you watch your eyes do not get tired. From the usual antenna, the self-search of the TV found about 40 channels, but sometimes I just hate cable TV for the nonsense that they are doing there.
As an additional signal source, I chose Popcorn (from the same BBK, hahah), a review of which I already did (already in two parts - 1 , 2 ). I connected it via a bundled HDMI cable, and to popcorn, a double terabyte external Verbatim (the review was the same) - I put it all on the shelf. I think this volume is enough for me for a long time. On verbatime, while FAT32 and no "serious" films, so while there are only all sorts of good old cartoons for the baby, movies in portions of 700 MB and other digitization.
