While the verb “to google” (“google”) is entered into official dictionaries, and Google seems to like it (since it does not protest especially), Adobe has a very negative attitude to this phenomenon.
On the Adobe website even posted special rules regarding the use of the Photoshop brand. The phrase “the image was photoshopped” is considered incorrect because it is correct to say “The image was enhanced using Adobe Photoshop software”.
Thus, the company is vehemently protesting against turning the name of the graphic editor into a slang word. But what is written with a pen is not to cut it down with an ax. And the exclamation “Photoshop!” In a situation when it comes to an obvious photographic fake is more than appropriate.
