It was assumed that the higher the karma, the more votes (positive or negative) I can give. However, having cast my vote, I have to wait 7 minutes to be able to vote again. The result is that some people will not get a vote from me for the reason that I have already voted for someone and I simply don’t have time to wait for these 7 minutes. And the next time I visit Habr, I can simply forget the person.
The reality is that the volume of votes, which I give in one day, fluctuates around 5-7, i.e. it turns out that karma above 10 already simply loses its meaning. The only thing that lovers often vote for comments may strive for great karma, in order to more often evaluate the comments of others.
