Competition for developers Windows Mobile Developers - 2009
Microsoft, together with Softline Venture Partners, is holding an application contest for the Windows Mobile platform “Windows Mobile Developers - 2009”. It started on October 12, and we will announce the results in December. You can learn all the details and send the application to the contest on the site www.wmdev.ru . Both independent developers and whole companies can participate in the competition.
We hold a competition for developers in 4 nominations:
• Jury selection
• Community selection
• The best app, or widget for Windows Mobile 6.5
• Better access to music and video from a mobile device from MTS

Both simple developers and whole companies can participate in the competition. We are sure that the prizes will be useful to everyone. The winners of the Jury Choice nomination will receive a modern, stylish and high-performance laptop as a prize, the Community Choice winners - the latest model Windows Phone communicator of the latest model, the Best Application Widget for Windows Mobile 6.5 - the Xbox 360 Elite , and Finally, the developers who won the Best Access to Music and Video from a Mobile Device nomination — the Acer S200 Communicator — the latest model based on Windows Phone.
We invited the leading companies in the market of software developers for Windows Mobile - SPB Software and Paragon Software Group to choose the best applications at the competition, and the judges are representatives of Microsoft, Softline Venture Partners, Yandex and MTS. The jury will evaluate the applications according to several criteria, and the overall rating will be used to determine the winner in the Jury Choice nomination. Visitors to the site will also be able to evaluate the work of the contestants. Their overall rating will be used to determine the winner in the Community Choice nomination.
