As reported
there and over there , the first
Firefox 3.6 beta will appear
on October 28 - which means, given the difference in time zone, it may be available in Russia the day after tomorrow.
As always, the use of
beta versions (as opposed to official releases) is recommended only to selfless fans of the fiery fox, because not all the bugs are cleared yet. Looking at the
list of bugs , it is not difficult to see in it even those that lead to the launch of the program. Be careful.
Again, as always, some extensions may not be fully compatible with the new version of the browser, while others, although technically compatible, just the authors have not yet marked them as compatible. You can use the special
Add-on Compatibility Reporter , developed by the Mozilla Foundation: it unlocks all extensions developed for previous versions of Firefox, and also allows you to send reports on the health or inoperability of such extensions in the new browser version. The Mozilla Foundation promises to systematize the reports and inform the authors of the extensions about their results.
