Foreword

In recent times, there have been frequent (or have become more noticeable to me?) Instances of duplication of posts (and simply speaking, button accordions). Reading numerous comments in the “Bayan!” Style, I thought - why not make the appropriate button?

By itself, the topic can be well designed and placed in the right thematic blog, so the minus itself is not entirely fair. We need a mechanism to prevent repetitions, and not to lower the karma of the unlucky "writers." This is especially true for newbies, who often post the oldest button accordion as the first post, or copy-paste from news sites (but they still don’t know that Habr is full of seasoned bison, which have already been published and commented on ten times).

What to do?

Algorithm like this. In addition to the pros and cons, make a “mournful” button with the corresponding icon of a musical instrument. Clicking on it acts like a voice (i.e., changing the assessment of the article will not work) and accumulates. A certain number of “button accordions” should hide the article (at least make it closed ?!), perhaps the fall of habrasila.

But this is not enough! In addition to proper punishment, you must have preventive measures. Malicious button-makers will be forced to create a page with a list of similar posts before creating a new post, and can only send an article by ticking “yes, this is not a button accordion”. If, nevertheless, this is a button accordion (we estimate it by the number of complaints received), then various penalties are possible (from automatic closing of a fast to a ban for Ndat hours).
