this bag is water soluble . And it really dissolves. In hot.
Before you is a magazine packed in plastic. It seems everything is as usual.
However, the package, as stated, is dissolved in water.

It is a transparent bag made from a material called
harmless-dissolve (literally "
harmless dissolution ") from
Cyberpack .

')
Let's not pull: we take out the magazine - we put the package in hot water. The manufacturer advises 60+ degrees (in the picture shoved into hot water from the office drinker).

The plastic starts to dissolve immediately.

After about a minute

In two minutes

The black paint residues from the inscription and the white undissolved residues when rubbed between the fingers are slightly sticky, but are easily washed off and, according to the manufacturer, are completely biodegradable.

The manufacturer claims that the decomposition results are completely harmless. It seems like they can even be drunk, but researchers who have tried to drink say that it tastes disgusting, so they do not recommend it.
In general, in fact, the hot-water focus is shown only to demonstrate that this material is biodegradable. That is, in the normal case, it is not necessary to boil the packaging - you can safely throw it into the compost pit. In hot water, however, “rapid decomposition” occurs (in cold water it will not dissolve so quickly).
The packaging is made of water-decomposable substrate, which is 5 times stronger than polyethylene. In a compost medium (or even a dishwasher), it decomposes completely. It is non-toxic. What is in the natural environment, that in an
anaerobic reactor it is easily decomposed by fungi, mold, yeast and other microorganisms. They simply devour this plastic: it suits them as food because it responds to the enzymes they secrete. In the end, it leaves carbon dioxide, water and biomass.
The company produces a
wide range of products from this material. For example, produce packaging for frozen fish, which do not have to be torn, but can be thrown on the defrost along with the fish - dissolved.
There is even a mental balance regulator made from this material.

Maybe someday most plastic will be like that ...
