Bing rocket launched into space

A rocket with Bing logos and a satellite of the new generation WorldView-2 from DigitalGlobe was launched into space to begin surveying the Earth's surface for the Bing Maps service. Previously, the satellite of the previous generation of the same company was launched to populate the Google map service. The new satellite for Bing Maps has a much better resolution of 1.8 meters, which will allow "to see the stones on Red Square" in Moscow, as one of the blogs wrote in runet.
