Runet® Award is a nationwide award in the field of high technologies and the Internet, encouraging outstanding services of leading companies in the field of information technologies and electronic communications, government and public organizations, business structures, as well as individual figures who have made significant contributions to the development of the Russian Internet (Runet).


By tradition, the popular vote takes place in three stages.

The first:
Self-nomination of projects to participate in the popular vote.
Period of holding: from July 01, 2009 to October 15, 2009
Apply for participation in the popular vote

Second:
Semifinal - the beginning of voting for projects participating in the action.
Selection of 50 People's Vote Finalists
Period: from 10/16/2009 to 10/30/2009

Third:
Final - continued voting for projects participating in the action. Definition of 10 projects-leaders of the People's Voting (People's Ten), as well as one project-leader of the People's Voting.
Period: from 10/20/2009 to 11/25/2009 (Day of the Runet Prize Award Ceremony)
