Every man to his own taste

I had such an episode in my already quite long and orderly life. A friend of mine webmaster weakened a site for one office. It was in the distant and shaggy ninety-ninth, if my memory serves me. The design itself was removed from another site that already existed, but in general, when it was shown to me and another friend of mine (and then we were temporarily assigned as “Internet main” in that office), then we would liked; there were menus on java scripts so cool and funny such a yellow-brown color scheme. But when this site was shown to the chief commander of that office, he said that they say it is not a design, but shit is something that cannot be done, and as an example of how to do it, he uploaded on his note and demonstrated to that web master to a loser, a site of some kind of hardware office, which, in the opinion of the webmaster and ours, in general, was made quite clumsy, kondovo and in an extreme degree not interesting.

Why am I all this? Imagine, you are the coolest designer or even an entire studio, also eats, but the coolest, you are aware of all the latest trends and newfangled chips, a client comes to you and says, for example, I want a web site cool to stand out. You do everything right and right for him, but how do you understand and imagine, show this your work of web-art to the client, and then it turns out that the client is not aesthetically up to all the latest pieces and new-fashioned trends and morally is not ready for them . He (a) spits on your creation, and shows you what he (a) wants, by example, eats-but, something already existing in the web. You look at it, and your conscience of the creatives shouts to you through the whole brain and right in the heart - huuu ... nyayayayayaya !!!

Attention question - what to do in this situation?

Answer options:

a) to score on the conscience and give the client what he (a) wants and they all went to ...;

b) to send a client to ... because working with a mankurt is zapadlo;

c) try to form a client about the latest trends and newfangled chips;

d) do something else that I did not think about.
