Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 Test Build Available

This is not the official beta of Firefox 3.6, it will appear within a week, but the so-called “test build”, which adds support for thumbnails in the Windows 7 taskbar, a preview of the tabs and a new rendering engine.

You can download this build from the Mozilla FTP server . Select OS and platform from the list, inside there will be a binary you need. As you understand, there may be several bugs, since the beta is officially released on October 21, the day before Windows 7.

To display tab thumbnails when pressing Ctrl + Tab, as in the alpha version, you need to type in about: config in the address bar, find the parameter browser.ctrlTab.previews and set its value to true .
