American soldiers don't like high-tech stuff.

Every day, the US military, sent to Iraq, is overgrown with more and more high-tech “gadgets” such as LCD screens built into helmets, intelligent rifles, and so on. According to the plan of the high command, these tools should help the soldiers to fight, coordinate their actions.







But the military itself does not like the clever technology. Most of them believe that electronics only interfere, while reliable weapons are much more decisive factors in the fighting.

For example, the first-used Land Warrior system, which provides communication between soldiers and many other military "amenities", still fails, despite 15 years of development and $ 15 million invested in it.
