Situation: On October 5 of this year, I made an order at Amazone.com for $ 97 + shipping = $ 130. A minute later my Visa was charged $ 1, sending me emails, the approximate content of which: “We have withdrawn $ 1 from your card, now you can purchase any music content from us for that $, the specified cost”. As I understand it, this is a kind of anti-bot check registered. OK. Then, after a few more minutes, the amount for my order + delivery = $ 130 was withdrawn from my account. I received a message on the mail that the order was paid for and I can track its status on their website. Super! I went to sleep. This morning I received an SMS invoice from my bank that Amazon again charged me $ 130 !!! How so? For what? Once again, having checked my order and making sure that he made a screen in 1 copy and wrote them in Help, I am now waiting for an answer.
Did you have similar problems with Amazon? ')
update condition on 10/08/09: 1. Amazon's Support answered me to the question “why I had withdrawn funds twice”, because it may be the specifics of my bank’s work and asked me to wait 7-10 days. If the second amount is not returned after the specified period, then Amazon will take the trouble to resolve issues with the bank. My order was shipped today and is now available for tracking. 2. “The bank, in turn, still holds both amounts in hold for Amazon” - the answer of the bank’s support. As I understood, my panic was unnecessary, but the process itself turned out to be very interesting and funny :)
