Google has released a new
Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) API to help AJAX developers have an easier way to integrate Atom and RSS feeds into web applications or blogs.
The AJAX Feed API, which was introduced at the O'Reilly Web 2.0 Summit, can help programmers incorporate streams into applications or Internet sites without writing the server side of the code, said Google Product Development Manager, Bret Taylor.
“Google takes on all the hard work ... decides all the technical differences between different stream formats,” says Bret.
Today, developers need to understand the many differences between streams and versions of these streams, and for many it’s problematic to add them to Internet sites and applications, he added.

This is the third developer API that has appeared in the last two years. Prior to this, in 2005, the Google Maps API was released, allowing you to embed your maps on web pages, and the Google Search API, which allowed you to realize the capabilities of Google search on your site.
“Google supports AJAX developers,” said Taylor. “This is a great way to improve the quality of the Web.”
AJAX Feed API is already
