I decided to test the picas. I want to share the results and impressions with you.
So:
I placed an advertisement for my small project in the form of picads on one of the sites that are ready to host picades! It cost me 100 rubles for 30 days of advertising. The page on which my picad is shown has about 7,500 views per week, i.e. about 1070 views per day - which is not so much. Honestly, I thought that God forbid there will be 20 transitions in a month, but I hoped for the best. Now comes the end of the first week of placing picas and this is what happened:
The first day can not be taken into account, placed an advertisement around midnight, so there are few impressions.
Roughly speaking, 50 clicks cost me only 25 rubles, since only one week passed (and even then not completely). That is, 1 click = 50 kopecks - this is simply an excellent indicator, and even at CTR = 0.69%
Unfortunately (or fortunately?), There are still very few sites participating in this advertising network, and it goes without saying that now, excellent picad performance is entirely due to the users' non-greediness of this type of advertisement. In this test drive in the whole block, the pickup was placed only my one, which of course gives a certain bonus. A user, entering the site, sees something new in the form of a picad block and of course will click on the only piccade placed there. If the block were filled at least by 25%, then the effect of placing a picad, in my opinion, would be zero.
Let's see what will happen after the month, and maybe I will write another topic on this topic.
Results:
1. Now it is profitable to use picads for owners of blogs and small sites, as this is a cheap advertisement that shows results superior to other types of advertisement.
For comparison, with the help of picad, you can attract about 25 users per day for only 300 rubles a month, although for the same indicators using Yandex.Direct, you would need about 1200 rubles per month.
2. Picads are effective when there are not many of them in one block (no more than about 10% of the total number)
3. Picads - in essence, a kind of link exchange, only in the form of 22 * 22 pictures for blogs and small thematic sites.
4. For large companies, it is advisable to use a picad in this format:
