Overview of external 2.5 "HDD A-Data Nobility NH92 500GB

Most recently, I had the task and desire: to buy a mobile external HDD. Immediately, I note that I already have a WD My Book Essential Edition 500GB, but it is large, with a power supply unit - that is, not at all transportable. So I had an idea: why not use WD for backups, and for storing photos (I take pictures in RAW and a lot of o_O), films and other things, take a small, fast, beautiful screw. Seagate FreeAgent Go, Transcend and Prestigio were among the bidders. I chose them for a long time, felt them, read reviews, but unfortunately I did not choose anything suitable for me.

And yesterday I saw a new line of HDDs from a-data in the store. Honestly, I had heard little about them before :) Googled, but there was little information: a few reviews + news about the release of the same line of new hard drives. In general, I decided to take it (do not ask the reasons, I just liked the design). I want to present you a brief overview with a small test of this product Taiwanese =)
Included are the HDD itself, the Y usb cable and the case.

Plain plastic packaging.

2. Case
On the sites they write that the leather case. I admit honestly - to the touch it does not cause a feeling in my skin. So the material is unknown.

The size of the device is small. For comparison, photographed it next to the iPhone.

5. Price
The optimal price of this thing is $ 115-120. That is, at the cost of the screw is at the level of Transcend. For comparison: Seagate FreeAgent Go of the same volume costs about $ 130.

In general, the HDD impressions are very positive: a thin, beautiful aluminum device with good speed.
Of the shortcomings, I noted only one thing: near the name of the company, the aluminum cover is not very tight to the plastic: (This is a bit annoying. That is, the Taiwanese assembly is a little tinker :)

PS Review of iron writing for the first time. The reason is the lack of reviews of USB HDD data per se, which strained me a bit when I purchased it. I hope this information will be useful to you when choosing your data warehouse;)
