JibJab - Internet Animation Pioneers

Founded by their studio JibJab in 1999 (as is commonly done in a garage), the brothers Gregg and Evan Spiridellis became famous in 2004 during the US presidential election. Their cartoon parody of George Bush and John Kerry This Land (My Country), posted online on July 9, 2004, was watched over 80 million times during the election campaign.

The Spiridellis brothers and the team of artists, photographers and animators they have assembled continue to produce humorous cartoons, a collection of which is presented on the website in the ORIGINALS section. In addition, they created an active community around the site and with the help of this community gathered a huge collection of comic videos, photos, audio and texts in the JOKEBOX section.
