Cisco Systems has released two sets of "patches" that address vulnerabilities in their software for wireless networks.
In today's security bulletin, Cisco reported that their Wireless Control System, or WCS, contains multiple vulnerabilities that allow information disclosure, privilege escalation and unauthorized access to the network.
WCS is used in conjunction with Aironet access points, wireless LAN controllers, and wireless location devices, providing tools for planning and design, system configuration, position tracking, security monitoring, and wireless network management.
Vulnerabilities subject to WCS version 4.0.96.0.

In the second warning, Cisco announced to IT managers about multiple vulnerabilities in wireless LAN controllers, routers and access points, allowing a remote user to cause a denial of service, get information, change the control access table, and finally get administrative privileges.
