ProkatVsego - rental and rental catalog of everything you want

Hi habrasoobschestvo! We want to present to your judgment our ( vano , vbykanov ) first full-fledged start-up dedicated to renting and renting anything you like in Ukraine, and soon in other countries.


ProkatVsego.com.ua is a thematic free bulletin board aimed at a segment of offers and rental and rental requests for literally anything. All over the world, the rental theme is quite popular and quite a few companies are engaged in this, leasing and renting a very large range of goods and things - from bicycles to helicopters and luxury yachts.

But in the post-Soviet space, unfortunately, this topic has not yet received enough attention, despite the obvious advantages of rental:

• you spend much less money on rent than on purchase; besides, you get the opportunity to borrow the thing that you cannot afford to buy
• you save space in the apartment / garage / hangar / office, returning the item to the tenderer after use, which is especially important for items of seasonal need: why should you buy skis or snowboard if they will be in the storeroom most of the year
• you save time on choosing a rental item, because you take it only for a while, and not for the rest of your life, and if you don’t work or like it, take another

And the advantages of ProkatVsego are light and convenient design, reasonable interfaces and the lack of advertising.

Our project started on September 1 and now it is visited by more than 500 unique visitors every day. Today, there are already more than a thousand ads in the base for renting and renting various things, equipment, cars and other items, among which are, for example: BTR 152 , anti-gravity boots , Segway scooters , hookahs and much more.

The project was implemented on the LAMP platform by two people, its founders, without attracting additional participants. Active work on the development of the project took about three months.

Now on the site you can:

• register as an individual or company
• add offers or rental requests to both registered users and new users without prior registration (in this case, an account is created automatically using the email specified in the contact information for the advertisement and a random password, which will allow the user to edit or delete the advertisement in the future )
• select one of 14 categories and one of 170 subcategories for an ad
• place an ad in any city of any region of Ukraine (we will soon finish the list of regions and cities of Russia, as well as other countries)
• upload photos to ads
• indicate different cost options for different time units (minute, hour, day, week, month, year)
• add tags to the ad
• specify all kinds of communication options - from email and phone to Skype and, of course, Twitter'a
• contact the authors of the ads through the form if the owner of the ad does not wish to show his email
• search for ads by titles, text, regions, categories, tags

Now the project is working in beta mode, we are actively implementing the functionality of our tracker and no less actively add new tasks to it. In the future, we plan to implement a number of additional features, as well as launch local versions of the project in various countries and regions.
