First Moscow Startup Weekend

Recently, in St. Petersburg, was HackDay - a format that is more focused on developers. Startup Weekend will be held in Moscow from October 2nd to 4th, a format focused on creating full-fledged business teams.

About Startup Weekend

The movement began in Silicon Valley, and today weekends are regularly held in 50 US cities and European countries. Startup Weekend format features:

• The event is not initiated by any big company, it is an informal startup community.
• It is always held on weekends so that people who work somewhere can try themselves as startups.
• The event is not focused on development, but on creating a full-fledged business team. Therefore, in addition to IT specialists, marketing experts, project managers, product managers, sales managers, lawyers are invited. Ideally, the first sales should be made by the end of the event;) A detailed list of roles in the teams forming at the event.
• Discussion of ideas on Friday evening, and active work on Saturday and Sunday. The speeches of experts are held in parallel with the work of the teams; those who find the topic of the speech seem relevant and necessary at the moment are listening. The main goal is to make the project, the speakers are selected to be useful to you in this.
