74% of the British will look for free news sites

The British conducted a study on the transition to paid access to content . It turned out that 74% will look for a free alternative if their favorite news site starts to take money for access . Only 5% said they would start paying.


53% would prefer to pay a one-year subscription, rather than one-time micropayments for access to certain materials.

However, 72% of them are willing to pay less than 10 pounds .
