Internet access in a train (bits and pieces about Norway)

Between Lillehammer and Thorp / Sandefjord, 4 hours by train. Thorpe is a small airport where major low-cost airlines fly. My acquaintance, with whom we flew by chance on the same flight from Kiev, traveled to Vienna through this very Thorp, because it was cheaper.

Sincerely speaking, it doesn’t bother to look out the window at all; rather, a feeling of constant delight rolls in. Especially now - in the morning, when there is fog over the fjords, and somewhere in the distance are mountains.

The railroad is called NSB. When buying any ticket, you can additionally pay the so-called NSB Komfort. You can't call it first class; rather, an ordinary ticket upgrade is the same seat, but already facing each other, there are tables, and, importantly, sockets . You can use the coffee machine for free. In general - everything you need, if you want to work on the train.

What was my surprise when I discovered an open wi-fi network, which then led me to the Internet.

NSB Interaktiv

At the moment, the service is in test exploitation, so I did not have to pay a lot of money to enjoy it and not on a trip.

After activating free access you get access to:
  1. updated information on the location of the train.
  2. video library
  3. audio library
  4. the internet
  5. casual toys library

Access to the network does not lag, which is very nice. Everything works quickly and quietly.

And, well, you will agree, because in such places you need access to the network, this is where people are willing to pay for it, sometimes a lot of money. You will not run anywhere on the train, you will not make an appointment, but you can usefully spend time or have fun online. "+ a lot" Norwegian railway workers. Thank )

I can not add how beautiful it is here. All the charms of the cities of Western Europe are dim before the local nature. Nature and tranquility. In Lillehammer it seemed that the Olympiad (winter 1994) was held here just a year ago. There are plenty of Olympic symbols in the city and a lot of people who run, pedal, ride roller skates, go with sports equipment.

And, of course, I liked the local approach to life. Here I want to do things.
It seems to me that the staff of the Opera office in Oslo was very lucky. )
