Autodesk goes to mobile phones

Autodesk created a great app for sketching. The novelty is called Sketchbook Mobile and this is the first Autodesk application for Apple iPhone mobile phones (by the way, it works great on Apple iPod Touch players). The cost of the application is only $ 2.99!

The features of the application are impressive. Despite the fact that this is simply a drawing tool for mobile phones, the functions available to computers are familiar to the user: for example, layers, editor of brushes, magnifying glass for scaling, various color palette representations and much more. Interestingly, does Autodesk not plan to translate its “heavy” applications, like AutoCAD and Inventor, to mobile platforms?
