MTS and HTC Hero in St. Petersburg

As is known to the general public, MTS has announced the sale of HTC Hero phones with the Google Android operating system since September 10, 2009. The site is at least written that way. The phones were supposed to be sold in the MTS company communication salons, and the partners of the promotion - Eldorado stores. And what really? There are no phone shops in the MTS website, in three of them, which I have traveled around, they don’t know anything about delivery dates, Eldorado doesn’t understand what they mean (and they don’t have anything written about this phone on the website either). Having carefully read the MTS website again, I learned that by phone you can find out where the coveted phone is for sale. I called for the first time, promised to call in an hour. Do not call back. I called the second time, promised to call in an hour. Do not call back. Called the third time. Got up. I called the fourth time, said that they did not possess such information, and asked to call sometime later.

So, I'm the only loser, or someone else so unlucky?

UPD: The guys from “telefon.ru” phoned and said which store the phone was put off for me. So now I’m a happy owner of HTC Hero and I have a fresh Android SDK :) Thanks to everyone who responded!
