At the Frankfurt Motor Show, the premiere of a new version of the Russian supercar Marussia was completely unexpected for everyone. The car received the index B2 - this is the second version of the “Marusya”, and there may be a total of them ... as many as you like. According to the chief ideologist of the creation of the first Russian supercar Nikolai Fomenko, his company is capable of developing practically any body in a fairly short time.

It is interesting that in Frankfurt Fomenko showed three cars at once - in addition to the B2, there were two more models with a body B1 on the stand. But the main nuance is that the cars are made of different materials: the white Marussia and the blue B2 are carbonic, and the white and blue cars are ... basalt.
We are all accustomed to the fact that cars made in Russia (if they are not military vehicles, of course) are a very pitiful sight. That is why many Russian journalists (let alone foreign ones have nothing to say) looked at the Russian supercar with great irony - many were frightened even by the very phrase “Russian supercar”. However, upon closer inspection, it turned out that the Marussia is a very decent car, which in its design is not inferior to most competitors! No seriously. “Live” car looks very interesting, and body panels fit together significantly better than the pre-production sample. The interior of the presented cars is trimmed with leather, and the interior trim will probably still be brought to mind. According to Nikolai Fomenko himself, the welding of the power structure of the body is generally his pride. She's even better here than on ... Ferrari.
At the moment, the company Fomenko has already 17 orders. Fully paid orders! Each car costs 4 million 460 thousand rubles, or about 100 000 euros. For cars of this class is not so much. Moreover, in Russia there was even a Marussia sales center with its service center, and a second dealer will soon appear.
“In general, we want to reach the level of 3000 cars a year soon. To do this, we will soon have three plants for the assembly of machines, and all of them are likely to be located in Europe. Naturally, the main production will not be supercars. Their circulation will not be too large. The main locomotive should be ... crossover. We will show it next year, and in two versions at once - a car will appear in the “drop” style and with the “rack” style more traditional for this class. It will be a big crossover that will compete, apparently, with a car like the Audi Q7 , ”said Nikolai Fomenko.
As for the technical part, the Marussia does not yet hit the world with gigantic engines. However, this car has quite a decent power unit - it is a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 245 hp. and 330 N • m. Thanks to this, the lightweight Marussia (1,100 kg) can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5 seconds, and the maximum speed of the car exceeds 250 km / h. But soon the car will receive a new power unit. What - while a secret.
