New Android 1.6 (Donut) SDK released

Google has announced the release of a package for developing applications Android 1.6 (Donut) SDK, it is already available for download. As expected, the new version of the Android operating system at number 1.6 is not a major update, but still includes several new features. They are respectively reflected in the SDK. For example, there is support for the cellular standard CDMA and several new display resolutions, including QVGA and WVGA. Also in Android 1.6 available gesture control, text-to-speech (text-to-speech), and integration with the Quick Search Box Quick Search Box.


Also, developers note that the new version of the Android operating system provides a faster operation of the built-in camera plus improvements have been made to the Android Market. The first Android 1.6 devices are expected to hit the market in October.
