The Australian and New Zealand media, not without some pride,
covered the "feat" of their young compatriot at the weekend. A 15-year-old resident of Western Australia, on his own initiative, demanded that the administration of the largest video service YouTube remove from its pages more than 200 clips, the copyright of which is owned by the state television and radio
ABC . The commercials were cuttings from the series of the popular satirical series “The Chaser's War on Everything”.
A fighter for justice, whose name is still kept secret from the general public, to carry out his mission, introduced himself as an employee of ABC. He put forward his demand through the form on the website, which serves for feedback with the right holders. Interestingly, unlike the cases of similar claims from large media companies, this time the reaction of YouTube was almost instantaneous.
Later, when ABC contacted the boy, he apologized for any inconvenience. But both the management of the company and the authors of the series treated him with the utmost condescension. There was even an offer to hire a teenager to work as a copyright specialist.

In the near future, Australian radio is going to interview the young man and ask him about the reasons for such an act.
