It seems in the news on Habré has not yet skipped.
Yesterday, the popular microblogging service Twitter decided to change the terms of the user agreement. This was announced in the official blog of the company (http://blog.twitter.com/) by Biz Stone, one of the founders of the service.
In particular, now users are allowed to post advertising materials to themselves. It does not specify which formats advertisements on the service can receive (if they ever appear), however, a link to the May blog post is given (http://blog.twitter.com/2009/05/does-twitter-hate-advertising. html), which refers to the attitude of Twitter to advertising. Then the developers wrote that traditional banner advertising was of little interest to them and promised to explore the possibilities of earning in the area of user and corporate relations.
Another aspect touched upon by the new agreement concerns rights of ownership. The main idea advanced by the service is: “Your tweets belong to you, not Twitter”. Twitter is allowed to “use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute” your tweets, because Twitter is designed for that. However, these are your tweets, and they belong to you.

API issues were also raised. The post says that apps sprung up around the Twitter platform thrive and add value to the Twitter ecosystem. With the new agreement, users allow Twitter to make content created via the API. Twitter is also working on API instructions.
In addition, in the new conditions, clearer definitions of the terms “Spam” and “Unacceptable Behavior” are given.
