Good day% username%
I want to share a possible idea for a startup, on which I have been prompted by two posts: the
start of the project I-language.ru and
Spokoino.ru - the site of quiet traffic inspectors .
The essence of the idea is to create a service that allows you to remotely train everyone in the theoretical disciplines of school, university and others. programs. The service can also be used for tutoring (teaching foreign languages, preparing for exams, etc.).
')
An interesting service will be for people who for one reason or another cannot attend school, or because of frequent relocations, they constantly change their place of study and, accordingly, the level, or those who want to learn something further.
Pluses of distance learning:
- targeting - the possibility of an individual approach to the student, the creation of small groups with the same initial level and similar performance;
- high level of training - due to the rating system of teachers, based on real feedback, as well as due to a clear classification of teachers (for example: business vocabulary in English, general vocabulary), the student can choose the level of training he needs;
- opportunity to create a convenient schedule of classes for students and teachers.
Minuses:
- technical threshold - the teacher, as well as the student must be prepared to work on a computer (as well as from the software of the service itself) and have access to the Internet;
- the consciousness of students (this is more true for children and adolescents) - the inability to control attention during a lesson or lecture, but only post inspection.
A few thoughts on the technical side of the issue: the only, in my opinion, way to ensure an acceptable “level of knowledge delivery” to the consumer is video and audio conferences. It is also necessary to provide a kind of ordinary board - the teacher can organize data entry with ordinary keyboard input (this method will be acceptable for formless disciplines) or using a graphic tablet (another plus in favor of the distant learning) for writing formulas and drawing diagrams.
Ps: unfortunately I did not conduct a search for similar solutions - please do not kick much for bragging.
The post turned out to be quite concise and superficial, but I will be happy to develop the idea if it is interesting and promising (from your point of view).
