The impact of search engines and internet marketing on the B2B market
Are search engines such as Yandex or Google able to influence sales in the B2B market, i.e. in the business services market? It has always been thought that using internet marketing increases sales, but in January 2007, the American company Enquiro conducted research on the impact of search engines. More than 1,500 company representatives were interviewed, who answered 40 questions.
Transactions on the B2B market are significantly different from consumer transactions (the B2C market), since decisions in the field of B2B are made by several people and, as a rule, they are managers. Therefore, the decision-making process takes more time due to the increase in the required time to study the product and place an order.
