Opera Devices SDK 10 - for future television

Do you know what future television will be like? No, not in terms of program content or signal transfer methods, but what will the control interface of the “zomboyaschik”? We, at Opera, have been thinking about this for a long time, and one of the proofs of this is the Opera Devices SDK development toolkit. This set allows you to create any interface for almost any device, and it does this using only open and accessible technologies. Of course, this SDK is not intended exclusively for set-top boxes, but in the new version released today, Opera Devices SDK 10 , a lot of attention was paid to the “television” theme.

Television is becoming more interactive and more and more integrated with the global network, so it is not by chance that Opera Software, as a well-known web browser manufacturer, could not pass by this market segment: we are interested in everything that is somehow connected to the Internet. - Extended support for chipsets, including CE3100 (Intel) and ST7105 (STMicroelectronics);
- Improved animation graphics interface and specifications of CSS3;
- Improved screen navigation and layout controls on the screen;
- Full support for W3C standards, allowing to develop software for any devices and platforms.
