Today, the
Mozilla Labs team
has published the first test,
Tab Open / Close , for
Test Pilot users. This test collects information about how many tabs you have and what you do when you close a tab (stay on selected or change)
In order to participate in the collection of information, you need to install
the Firefox extension and populate a small profile after installation.
Those who already have Test Pilot installed do not need to take any action to participate in the test, information will be collected by itself.
I hope this information will help the Mozilla Foundation to further improve their browsers.
Clarification: the description of this test says that only information about the number of open tabs and about your actions with them, not about their contents, is sent.
