Conficker began to take positions

The Conficker worm, which retained primacy in both the world and Russian Internet threats rankings for almost a year, began losing ground in August . Despite the fact that the program is still the most common malware in the world, the overall percentage of infections fell by 2% compared with July 2009 and was 8.56%.

A similar picture is observed in Russia. The number of Conficker infections fell by 5.64% to 17.38%. This is the lowest since the beginning of the year.
