How to get rid of "extra" blogs on Habré
In search of a suitable blog for the publication of some posts, I was surprised to find that the creation of new thematic blogs on Habré is disabled due to its proximity to the “critical mass” of existing ones.
And this is despite the fact that in search of a suitable blog for transferring my topic, I saw a lot of blogs with one or two posts and even no posts at all.
In this connection, I had another rationale for Habr: delete empty subject blogs, and remove entries from blogs with one post or several posts of one author to the blog of this author, after which the empty subject blog was deleted too :)

And so that this situation will not be repeated in the future, it makes sense to introduce a certain trial period for new thematic blogs, for example. a month during which there should appear at least one entry at least from two different users - because what's the point in a collective blog if there is only one person writing there?
After a month, a blog can be removed from the list, and after three months - from the site, transferring all the content in it to the personal blog of its author.
It seems to me that such an approach will be more humane and more rational than prohibitive measures.
I am writing this because I already have at least two topics for new thematic communities that may be of interest not only to me. And even if they do not pass a monthly trial period - I will not be sorry. Because it is fair.
UPD Valery4 suggested a better idea: to rely not only on the number of topics, but also on the number of subscribers - so that blogs with two cripples in readers become the first candidates for deletion.
