Investment company XF.com
bought the oldest domain on the Internet.
The domain
symbolics.com was registered on March 15, 1985 by the American
firm Symbolics , which wanted to show the public its personal computers optimized for the execution of commands in the LISP language. These were the first computers, which were called “workstation”.
For a quarter century, the domain has never (!) Changed its owner. Just now. The amount of the transaction is unknown, but its purpose is quite clear. After all, this is just an ideal investment. The first domain on the Internet will always be the first, and its value only grows every year, like the value of any historical exhibit. People will always go there, and the PageRank of the site is almost impossible to destroy, because the domain has already been entered into the annals of history.
