New low-power six-core Opteron

AMD announced that the Opteron processor family has been expanded with the 2419 EE

The six-nuclear novelty is part of the Istanbul family and is manufactured using 45-nanometer technology. The processor clock frequency is 1.8 GHz. The model has a reduced - 40 W - power consumption and, according to the developers, 31 percent more productive than the quad-core Opteron.
