And Mars will have apple trees ... to graze?

Inspired by Azimov's “Naked Sun”, the perfection of the R2-D2 forms from Star Wars, as well as insects, eggs and six hundred square meters, designer Martin Miklica developed the concept of a robotic greenhouse for Mars. The device is called “The Little Prince”, contains one plant and can move for quite a long distance in search of an ideal place under the sun or a watering place (a site with high humidity). At the same time, one greenhouse can inform the others that such a place has been found.

In general, there is a suspicion that future Martian cowboys will graze herds of apple trees or rutabagas.
