TED showed wireless electricity

Eric Giler at TED 'e demonstrates wireless power transmission. Turns on the TV and mobile phone, also talks about security and shows. In the video, the demonstration itself starts at around 6:20. In the first half of the video, Eric talks about how cool things will be if we give up the wires and batteries.
