YouTube automated payment of fees

The YouTube Partnership Program (YPP) was launched at the end of 2007 and has been used very selectively since then. The authors of the most popular videos did receive a fee of up to hundreds of thousands of dollars a month, but such authors could be listed on the fingers of two hands. The administration of YouTube approached this issue individually, chose the best of the best and offered them personal collaboration. Since yesterday, everything has changed. The program has been significantly expanded , and the payment of fees will now be carried out automatically.

If your video has become popular (counting the number of views, rating and matching ToS is taken into account), then in the control menu a new button “Enable Revenue Sharing” will appear next to it, as in the screenshot. Notification of this joyful event will also come to you by email.



If you click on this button, Google will start displaying ads next to your video and will accrue a share of advertising revenue to your Google AdSense account. For all benefits, it is also advisable to register in the affiliate program .

To receive a fee, you need to register an account for one of the countries where payments are made (now it is only the United States, European countries will soon add). Well, there is no problem with this, because during registration, the IP address is not checked and you can specify any country in your profile.
