The Google Search Statistics service is now in Russian

Google search statistics allows you to compare different search queries to identify the most popular ones. The comparison can be carried out for certain periods of time, for different countries and regions, as well as in different thematic categories.
With the help of Search Statistics you can determine which messages will best attract users.

Suppose you are advertising a baby stroller shop and, in an ad for a general request, “strollers” decided to list the brands of strollers that you sell. It will be correct to arrange the names in descending order of popularity. Compare their popularity in Search Statistics:

With the help of Search statistics, you can identify seasonal fluctuations.
Suppose you need to find out how the demand for holidays in Turkey is distributed throughout the year in order to start an advertising campaign in time.

The graph clearly shows that increased demand begins in March and ends in October.
Search statistics can be useful in analyzing market trends.
For example, an online laptop store may be faced with the task of evaluating which brands of laptops to focus on in sales, as well as purchasing quantities of goods that are adequate to the possible demand from suppliers.

We type "laptops" in the query statistics and see brands that are gaining popularity:

Accordingly, we can draw conclusions about the increase in demand for which brands of laptops can be expected in the near future.

The usefulness of this tool is obvious. But there is also a fly in the ointment: Google has accumulated insufficient statistics on some mid-frequency and most low-frequency queries, and it is not always possible to look at the statistics sections described above.
