Google developers have
connected ten new languages to the
Google Translate translator, including Belarusian.

Thus, the total number of supported languages in Google Translate has increased to 51, and the number of possible directions of translation - to 2500 (50
2 ).

Interestingly, this news was
reported to the whole world by a Belarusian programmer Igor Makhaniok, who works in the Swiss office of Google (the Google Operating System blog refers as a source to
John Muller , who retweeted Makhanka).
Judging by the
strange features of the work of Google Translate , Makhaniok is one of the authors of the Belarusian translation direction. Judge for yourself: the system recognizes Makhanjok and Zisser’s own surnames as names, but Lukashenka’s name, for example, does not recognize and does not correct the first letter in uppercase when translating. However, Igor himself
categorically disagrees .
