(the text is not entirely mine, the project is also, but conceptually I fully support the idea :) is published at the request of a person who is absent from Habre ..)

It's no secret that selling music in RuNet now, to put it mildly, is not profitable. The key factors of this state of affairs are musical piracy and the lack of a culture of payment for intellectual work (music, software, etc.).
Any action to
curb piracy in the network is doomed to failure, as evidenced by the huge number of examples. Appearances with appeals to “download music legally” are perceived by people extremely negatively, since in their view only corporations and labels feed on this, everyone forget about the musicians themselves.
With the help of the music store
MUZ.RU, we launched the project
“The Territory of Legal Music” , trying to approach the other side and convey to people the position of musicians and songwriters. First of all, we want to show the problems faced by the performers themselves, because the quality and fate of the next album and the quality of the future music industry as a whole depend on a decent payment for their professionalism.

In support of the
MUZ.RU project, we also established a small and useful competition (
http://community.livejournal.com/legal_music/3508.html ), the purpose of which is to find a joint solution to the problem of piracy.
We need
original and suitable for all ways to charge for legal music content . All that will help and make the purchase of music on the network easy and affordable. For example, we received recommendations like selling a lifetime or long-term subscription to music along with selling music players. Something like an OEM model when Windows is sold with a laptop.
We ask the community to participate and share their ideas here, in the comments, or on the
LJ community page. In gratitude, we have
50 VIP accounts for a month, allowing you to download an unlimited amount of music. We are happy to give them the most interesting tips :).
