Google Apps earned scripts

After the announcement in May and the subsequent lengthy testing, Google Apps developers yesterday opened the Google Apps scripting feature for all corporate users (i.e. subscribers to Apps Premier and Education Edition).

Using Google Apps Script, you can create events in the Google Calendar, change data in tables, send emails to specified addresses and templates. For example, it can be a personalized newsletter with the insertion of the personal name and surname of the addressee in each letter.

For example, such a script initiates a mailing list to addresses in column A with the text in column B, after which it marks the sending letter in column C.

The script action can be triggered by specified conditions, for example, upon reaching a certain value in a certain cell of the Google Spreadsheets table. For example, after the user confirms the payment, the script may send a request for the transaction to the financial department.
